Jute is an agricultural commodity and a cash crop. As a result other the market rates prevail well over MSP & the Corporation is left out in the lurch. So to generate business and extend benefits to the farmers in a Non-MSP market condition, the Corporation undertakes judicious Commercial procurement. The disposal of the Commercially procured jute is currently being done through the daily quote basis. There are other channels of disposal of raw jute procured commercially also being looked into.
